Why Harlow Stadium 'raid' is not quite what it might first seem

HARLOW Greyhound Stadium was the scene of a major police drugs "bust" this week - although all is not as it might initially seem.

The Essex venue was used as a location for Netflix's new blockbuster crime series 'Legends' starring Steve Coogan and Tom Burke which was released on Thursday 7th May to excellent reviews.

Legends, created by Neil Forsyth, is based on the true story of a team of ordinary British Customs officers in the early 1990s, who were tasked with going undercover to dismantle dangerous drug gangs from the inside.

These officers, who were not trained spies, were given new, high-stakes undercover identities referred to as "legends," as they sought to stop a rising heroin crisis.

All six episodes are now available to download with the Harlow scene featuring some 36 minutes into the third of them.
