Wide-running Comet can orbit Oxford field to land sprint win

ALOHAS COMET can steer a somewhat scenic route but that has not stopped him building a nine from 15 record in the grade and further success is on the cards in Oxford's D3 over 253m at 12.12.

Terry Nevin's charge could not have gone much closer than when pipped in a photo last time with his late rally after running wide into the home straight just failing.

James Danaher's Mustang Darwin can successfully drop from four bends to two to complete a Valley double, while Glenn Foot's speedy Saltees Kayla (6.29) and Jason Ray's consistent Savana Memories (7.14) are evening suggestions at Star Pelaw and Suffolk Downs respectively.
