Wild about claims of Knockglass doubling up in Youghal A3 grade

KNOCKGLASS WILD was an emphatic A3 Youghal winner last week and can repeat the feat in today's 12.04 over 525 yards at the County Cork coastal venue.

Martin Murphy's charge is a consistent performer and has only missed the podium once in his last nine starts, that recent success the result of a powerful all-round effort.

He holds a couple of today's rivals on that evidence and, although likely to be led initially by hat-trick seeking Lagile Latte, can stay well within striking distance and prove strongest when it matters.

Other Youghal suggestions are Ballydorgan One in the 11.13 opener plus Its Paddys Wish (12.38).

Harlow has a week-starting Monday SIS double-header with Paul Steward's Gooner Be Good (1.19) the early standout, while Darren Whitton's Moaning Versace (7.42) can score at the evening fixture.

Doncaster and Oxford hold the afternoon fort with the respective suggestions being Jimmy Gaskin's Redbrick Rooney (3.29) and Nick Deas' Trumpers Derek (5.14).
