Boscoes set for first career win with drop in class at Clonmel

BOSCOES BELTER can open her account fifth time up by capitalising on an ease in grade to land Clonmel's A4 over 525 yards at 7.24.

Sean O'Hanlon's bitch ran a career best when a close second one rung higher last time and a repeat of that level of performance should be more than good enough.

Other Clonmel fancies are Richy Brannigan's Marlfield Tiger (6.29), Maurice Organ's Uisce Beatha (7.58) and Ken Busteed's Vivaro Ceyian (8.16).

There is afternoon Irish action at Lifford where Darragh Murray's Please Eithne (3.59) looks best with other picks being David Park's Lotus Bluey (2.26), Francis Reynolds' Sally Mai (3.41) and Edward Duffy's Kandoo Kid (5.14).

Sue Watson's Gaytime Orla (12.46) can atone for a recent odds-on reverse at Doncaster, while Paul Maynard's Race For Spud (12.54) makes most appeal in a sprint open at Valley.

Star Pelaw has a Sunday afternoon card at which Glenn Foot's Caister Kay (4.26) looks best in the pick of five opens.
