Downgraded Avenue is on the road to front-running success

AVENUE KANE makes his first A4 appearance in almost three years in Tralee's penultimate contest over 525 yards at 2.03 and the veteran can confirm there is racing life left in him yet.
Brian O'Sullivan's charge comes into the contest on the back of an encouraging outing last time when he led A3 rivals for a long way and he is expected to hold on to an early advantage in this company.
He may not be the force that once tackled some of Ireland's finest in sprints but still boasts excellent early and that can be key.

Other fancies at the Kingdom Stadium are Philip Regan's Fortwilliam Rose (12.04), Patrick O'Connell's Teevee Breeze (12.38) and James O'Rourke's Slippy Chris (12.54).
Valley is the afternoon venue with Christian Darch's Crokers Pat (3.22) fancied to improve his already excellent 50 per cent A5 strike rate, while Colin Dibb's downgraded Westfield Onebid (7.58) looks best at Star Pelaw this evening.
