Freebie set to prove a gift horse for those ready to keep the faith

DROOPYS FREEBIE has been very expensive to follow of late but can reward the faithful with victory in Doncaster's B1 over 450 at 2.44.

Sue Watson's dog completed a mid-September double in the grade but has been a beaten favourite four times subsequently although he is hardly performing badly.

Picked up after leading for a long way the last twice, he can again hit the front early and build a decisive advantage this time.

Harlow has a week-starting double-header with the early fancy being Sharon Saberton's Mallogs Reba (12.46) who can open her account at the fourth time of asking when she takes on A7 rivals, the evening pick being Terry Nevin's Yo Jonny (6.11) who also goes in that grade seeking a fifth win in 11 starts at the level.

Star Pelaw has an evening card transferred from Sunday's abandoned meeting with Ross Miller's Violets Girl set for a sprint hat-trick when she goes in a D2 contest over 245m at 6.56.
