STAR SPORTS' owner Ben Keith was a huge fan of Tina Turner's classic "Simply The Best" serenading the Greyhound Derby finalists onto the track but perhaps this year D:Ream's "Things Can Only Get Better" would be more appropriate from an on-course bookmaker viewpoint.

After a first round spread over three nights ended 3-0 to the punters, there was more of the same in round two with the sponsor taking a beating, one double across Friday and Saturday in particular making a huge dent in the figures.
