Kamala stars for Dowling as he dominates Irish Oaks openers

BALLYMAC KAMALA took star billing on a momentous night for Liam Dowling as the trainer sent out a four-timer in the heats of the 2026 Sporting Press Irish Oaks over 525 yards at Shelbourne Park on Saturday.

Dowling had already seen Ballymacs Allory (28.36sec), Gwennie (28.23sec) and Siun (28.54sec) before Ballymac Kamala rounded off proceedings in the heat nine finale with a stunning 27.89sec success as she assumed outright favouritism for the bitches’ Classic.
