No distractions for Blitz at Thurles, Stubborn the day’s best at Tralee

FEATURE Tuesday event is the rescheduled €3,000 final of the Thurles Track Champion Bitch Stake over 525 yards at 8.09.

All things considered, the percentage call could be Pat Buckley’s Glengar Blitz who is the sole seeded runner, did not have the Shelbourne distraction and was very impressive in round one here before a narrow semi-final reverse.

There is early Tuesday SIS action from Tralee where Kelsey Condon’s Stubborn Love can make the most of a drop in class to land an A6 over 525 yards at 2.03.

She is one from two at the level and has made the podium in her last eight starts.

Earlier Tralee fancies are the syndicate-owned Rosstemple Orio (12.21) and Thomas Regan’s Baltovin Royal (1.47).

Adrian Rawlings’ Grovenor Anna (3.59) and Sam Atkinson’s Bogger Dewie (8.16) are the suggestions at Valley and Star Pelaw respectively.
