No doubting Tomas as he bids for yet another Youghal A2 victory

SLANEYSIDE TOMAS has a stunning six from seven record in the grade and there seems no obvious reason why it should not be enhanced further still when he goes in Youghal's A2 over 525 yards at 12.59.

Derek Kehoe's dog was prolific in midsummer and, while his overall strike rate has dropped, he is still hugely effective at today's level as his latest dominant performance on 7th October showed.

Unpenalised for that front-running victory, he can again take early command and it will be a surprise if he is reeled in.

Other suggestions at the Irish seaside track are Marian Maloney's Roko (11.29), David Budd's Lyreen Tommo (12.04) and Mark Drinan's Wagga Carr On (12.21).

Harlow has a week-starting double-header with the fancies being Darren Fenn's Edermine Bucks (1.03) who can dominate on his return to four bends after a sprint outing last time, likewise Di Jinks' Hi Tonto (6.11) who also goes in an A7 this evening.

The afternoon action comes from Doncaster where Sue Watson's speedy Droopys Freebie (3.59) can capitalise on a vacant trap inside him to regain the winning thread having had to settle for second the last twice.
