Petshop is always on our mind ahead of Sunday Clonmel finale

PETSHOP FAREWELL was agonisingly caught close home in a similar contest last week but can go one better in Clonmel's A1/A0 finale over 525 yards at 9.26.

Maurice Organ's dog has four wins, four seconds and a third in his last nine starts so is clearly at the top of his game and is fancied to build a winning advantage on this occasion.

Earlier Clonmel fancies are Matthew Ryan's Gerpats Jackpot (6.46) and Dora Hattemore's Chaotic Panther (8.34).

There is afternoon Irish action at Lifford where Willie Mullan's Swift Calm (3.41) is the standout with other suggestions being Orla McGhee's Highview Lucas (3.03) and Anna Breen-Hamilton's Ridgedale Roxy (4.18).

First track under way is Valley where Donna Davy's Da Scallywag (10.57) and Tony Morgan's Dees Lad (12.04) plus the James Danaher duo of Crokers Heidi (1.12) and One Sizzler (1.47) all catch the eye.

There is also early action at Doncaster where Sue Watson's consistent Tommys Dolly looks best when she goes in a D3 sprint at 12.46.
