Prince to show benefit of return run to claim Waterford victory

PLACID PRINCE has hd something of a stop-start career to date but two wins in nine is a reasonable return and he can add to the tally with victory in Waterford's A3 over 525 yards at 12.04.

Joe Anglim's dog was having his first race in seven weeks on 23rd May when leading for a long way only to be run out of it close home and he should strip considerably fitter for the outing.

The fact this next race comes almost three weeks later is not ideal but he should still be in a better place all the same and can settle the issue by the time he enters the back straight.

Jonathan Rolle's Force Ten (11.29) and Catherine Tuohy's Whiteys Miranda (2.03) are the other suggestions at Kilcohan Park, while there is Thursday afternoon Irish action at Limerick where Patrick Naughton's Enniscouch Flash (4.37) and Liam Jones' Lingrawn Focus (4.56) are fancied.

Valley hosts the evening action with James Danaher's veteran Gurtnacrehy Exit appeals when he goes unpenalised for a D4 sprint win at 9.09.
