Rerouted Kathleen installed as 6/4 favourite for Lifford Oaks

DROOPYS KATHLEEN, who lost her career unbeaten record when a shock elimination from the English Oaks at Dunstall Park last week, has been installed as 6/4 favourite by the sponsor for the BOYLE Sports Lifford Oaks starting this weekend.

Robert Gleeson's star bitch won her first five races including the 2024 Puppy Oaks at Shelbourne Park but various setbacks then kept her off the track for the best part of a year before she made a track record return in the opening round of the English Oaks prior to her shock second round exit.

The revival of the Lifford Oaks represents the most prestigious event to take place at the Donegal venue since its reopening in 2023 with heats scheduled this Saturday, semis a week later and the live-on-SIS final on Saturday 1st November.
