Shannon downgrade can end her run of silvers at Mullingar

HOME SHANNON is dropped in grade despite three silver medals in a row and Joe Campbell's bitch should take plenty of beating in Mullingar's A6 finale over 525 yards at 9.01.

She has a three from eight record in this class, her last appearance in it last October resulting in a three lengths victory in a career-best calculated time of 29.32sec.

There is some speed to her immediate outside but she can track the pacesetters before pouncing in the second half of the contest.

Catherine Lynagh's Bluejig Teddy (7.14) is an earlier Mullingar fancy, while there is also morning Irish action from Kilkenny where the Gordon Rotheram duo of Chiltern Stella (12.21) and Chiltern Emmie (1.12) both appeal.

Harlow has the usual Wednesday double-header with Dave Carter's consistent Buenos Dias (11.54) the early meeting pick, while Maurice Rice's Swift Legacy (7.42) can defy an upgrade at the evening fixture.

Afternoon-wise the action comes from Doncaster and Valley with Craig Williams' Devon Lucky (2.52) and Joshua Morris' Gizmo Mysterious (4.56) the respective suggestions.
