Derby co-sponsor Star Sports played three, lost three so far as on-course betting on the trio of nights in the first round of the English Greyhound Derby at Towcester was concerned but it would have been very different had the last of the 32 heats had the opposite photo-finish outcome.

Jonathan Kay caught up with Star Sports' Kaan Hughes to talk through business on the the three nights, that near-miss and early ideas about round two.
