Swift to live up to the name with her third Youghal sprint victory

CAREFREE SWIFT made a belated start to her career in March and has done well since dropped to sprinting so is well worth an interest when she goes in Youghal's S7 over 325 yards at 11.45.

Bernadette Connolly's bitch is two from four over the trip and, although well beaten on her most recent outing at the start of the month, that came in a very fast run race for the level - the winner getting a subsequent four-grade uplift.

Today's opposition should see her much more within her comfort zone and she can lead by the first bend to register a third victory.

Connolly can initiate a double by sending out Gagas Gubble Gun to land an A6 contest over 525 yards at 11.29, while Margaret Muldoon's consistent Madgies Pet (12.21) is another Youghal fancy.

Harlow has a Monday double-header with Sharon Saberton's speedy Westway Nelson (1.37) the early fancy, while Terry Nevin's Savana Monica (8.52) can follow up a recent D5 sprint win this evening.

Doncaster hosts afternoon action with Sue Watson's Reenaderry Road (4.56) set to complete a hat-trick in a high-class B1 contest over 450m.
