The numbers add up for Ireland with unprecedented full house

THE 2026 Star Sports & Orchestrate English Greyhound Derby will see a seventh Irish-trained champion in the last 11 renewals after the raiding party completed an unprecedented clean sweep of six qualifiers from the two semi-finals.

Liam Dowling has half the field including Ballymac Deniro who set last weekend's standard when ust one spot outside Towcester's 500m track record with a brilliant 28.15sec win, Paul Hennessy is double-handed while Pat Buckley sent out the other semi-final winner in the shape of Hackney Corner (28.34sec).
