When Am Gone can slip field to land Lifford opener for Mullan

WHEN AM GONE went very close when headed near the finish in a similar contest last week and makes plenty of appeal to go one better in Lifford's A5 opener over 525 yards at 2.26.
In a contest of all-seeded runners, Willie Mullan's charge looks to have the best of the draw in six and, while there is early pace amongst his rivals, it still looks a contest he is favourite to lead.
That being the case, he should take some pegging back and can go on to record a fifth victory in only 12 starts at the track.
Other Lifford fancies are Ann Breslin's Oisins Star (2.44) and Mullan's Rains Lightning (4.18).

There is also a later Sunday Irish meeting at Clonmel where the suggestions are John Campbell's Bionic Blue Sky (6.46), Denis McCarthy's Springwood Pep (7.24), the syndicate-owned Giglis Declan (7.42) and Emer Dunne's Illcalluback (8.16).
First track under way is Valley which has three divisions of a 260m sprint open on a 14-race card for which the suggestions are James Danaher's Quivers Blondie (10.57), Tony Morgan's Crokers Venus (12.38) and Christian Darch's Crokers Wiffen (1.29).
There is also early action at Doncaster where Jimmy Gaskin's Redbrick Cool can complete a five-timer in an A2 over 483m at 11.04.
