Milo installed as 9/2 Welsh Derby favourite by sponsor Star Sports
ANGLESEY MILO is 9/2 favourite with the sponsor for the Star Sports Welsh Derby which starts with six heats over 460m at Valley on Sunday.
Nathan Hunt's charge landed a British-bred competition over the course and distance in August and has subsequently returned to clock 28.19sec (calc) in a solo trial.
Second in at 8/1 is Dave Hunt's Sawpit Signature who is unbeaten in three races over the Welsh Derby trip including a career-best 28.18sec (calc) open success last time.
The first two in each heat on Sunday qualify for the semi-finals on Saturday 26th September with the £5,000 final seven days after that on 3rd October.
